Chantal O. Barland, MD
is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology
and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She
graduated from Dartmouth College cum laude and received her
medical degree as an honors student from the University of Miami School
of Medicine; she completed her internship in internal medicine at Beth
Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School.

Before starting her 3-year dermatology residency at
Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Derpartment of Dermatology and
Cutaneous Surgery; she was a dermatology research fellow at the University
of California San Francisco Medical Center. |

Dr.
Barland joined the Dermatology & Laser Center of San Antonio in August of
2008. She specializes in general dermatology and skin surgery for
adults and children, including the diagnosis and treatment of such skin
conditions as skin cancer, eczema, acne, psoriasis and warts. New patients
are always welcome. Dr. Barland is a participating provider in
Medicare and most managed healthcare plans. For the convenience of her
patients, Dr. Barland offers early morning and
after-school / work appointments. |

San Antonio's numerous attractions and is rapidly becoming an avid Spurs
fan! |
